Since 1984 Kmart customers and associates have supported the March of Dimes by donating $63 million to ensure that all babies get a healthy start in life.  They have distinguished themselves as having the longest corporate partnership with the March of Dimes as well as having made the single largest donation in our history.  2008 celebrates the beginning of our 25th year of partnership and celebrates Kmart’s 16th year as the exclusive national mass merchandise retail sponsor of March for Babies, formerly known as March for Babies.  Their renowned associate-driven, customer-supported in-store fundraising campaign is unprecedented – 2007 saw over $7 million raised for the health of all babies.  Kmart customers signal their commitment to this partnership year after year and week after week by supporting Kmart’s annual cutout promotion.  Kmart understands the importance of working together with the March of Dimes for stronger, healthier babies.

ACE Cash Express
ACE Cash Express is proud to take an active part in fund raisers and service efforts benefiting the communities where they operate stores, donating a portion of the company's net profit to charitable and community-based programs. ACE supports March of Dimes by dedicating their "Give A Little" promotion conducted in stores throughout the months of March and April, benefiting March for Babies. Bank of America
As a longtime supporter of March of Dimes March for Babies raising more than $23 million over the past tenyears, Bank of America's efforts in 2007 placed them as the No. 4 team out of 24,000 nationwide. More than 8,000 Bank of America employees, their family and friends, participate annually in March for Babies fielding the largest team nationwide. Creative fund-raising activities, strong local volunteer relationships and executive leadership are among just a few of the elements contributing to their campaign's continued success.

Bank of the West

Bank of the West has a long, proud history of community service and volunteerism. One of the most enduring partnerships is with March of Dimes. Over the past fifteen years, Bank of the West employees have banded together and demonstrated their leadership, creativity and commitment to March of Dimes through March for Babies and have positively affected the communities within their enterprise footprint. Total fundraising support since 1992 is an astounding $4.71 million, which has provided much needed funding to support the March of Dimes mission.

Big 5 Sporting Goods
Big 5 continues to play a vital role in driving the competitiveness, fun and ultimately the fund raising in March of Dimes March for Babies for families everywhere. Since 2000, the company has participated in March for Babies, raising nearly $1.86 million for the March of Dimes by engaging their customers through an annual in-store fundraising promotion. Customers also can pick up a local March for Babies sponsor form in stores.

CIGNA prides itself in helping companies succeed and helping people enjoy a better quality of life. Their partnership includes national sponsorship of March of Dimes March for Babies for 14 consecutive years, as well as national sponsorship of the Prematurity Campaign since 2003. The company and its employees have contributed nearly $21 million to help March of Dimes improve the health of individuals and their families, and foster healthier communities. Additionally, CIGNA's dedicated employees serve on local March of Dimes chapter boards, participate in special events and reinforce the March of Dimes mission to generate additional revenue for March of Dimes through unique promotions such as book sales, bake sales, wing eating contests, carnivals and the famous basket auction in Hartford.

Citi
The proud tradition that has linked Citi with March of Dimes through March for Babies demonstrates their responsibility to their franchise, which calls upon Citi employees to take an active role in the communities where they work and live. From all parts of the country, thousands of Citi employees take to the streets, the shores, the mountains, the parks on March for Babies weekend and celebrate the positive affect they have made for their communities and the nation. As a national March of Dimes Partner, Citi's total contribution since 1997of more than $19.3 million has truly saved the lives of thousand of babies.

Clear Channel Communications
Clear Channel Communications came on-board as a Prematurity Campaign partner, encouraging their some 1,200 radio stations nationwide to support the Prematurity Campiagn by airing our public service advertising, conducting on-air interviews, making talent appearances at Prematurity Awareness Day events etc. Clear Channel Communications is a global media and entertainment company specializing in "gone from home" entertainment and information services for local communities and premiere opportunities for advertisers. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the company's businesses include radio, television and outdoor displays.

Continental Airlines
Continuing into their third year as a national sponsor of March of Dimes March for Babies and the Foundation's distinguished National Ambassador Program, Continental Airlines has enhanced their commitment of in-kind product, advertising and promotion. Through in-flight and online media, communication to Rewards members and encouragement of WalkAmerica participation to an employee base 44,000 strong, Continental reached hundreds of thousands of families with important information about having healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Continental's Team raised more than $370,000 during the 2007 March for Babies campaign.

Entering their sixth year as a national media sponsor of March of Dimes March for Babies, Discovery Health takes viewers inside the fascinating and informative world of health and medicine to experience firsthand, compelling, real-life stories of medical breakthroughs and human triumphs. The company supports March for Babies by generating awareness of the prevalence of preterm births nationwide and disseminating important, lifesaving health messages to families. March of Dimes March for Babies and Prematurity Campaign television public service advertisements run continuously throughout the year, particularly during popular prime time programs such as "Birth Day", a regular program focusing on the miracle and challenges of birth.

Famous Footwear
Entering its fifth year of national sponsorship of March of Dimes March for Babies, Famous Footwear continues to be a pacesetter in the specialty retailer category. Their successful "Give hope" in-store fundraising campaigns in the spring and fall raise more than $1 million annual. Since 1997, Famous Footwear customers and associates have contributed more than $7 million to ensure all babies are born healthy. They rank as one of the top 10 March for Babies teams nationwide and are determined to stay there!

Farmers
Through sponsorships of March for Babies, the NICU Family Support® project, multi-market Bikers for Babies® events, and their own Be a Hero for Babies Day, Farmers ended 2007 by breaking all previous fundraising records. The $4.5 million raised in 2007 brings the total raised by Farmers agents, district managers and employees to nearly $19 million over the 20-year history Farmers shares with the March of Dimes.

FedEx
FedEx promotes a culture that values community service and good corporate citizenship. Since 1979, FedEx has supported the March of Dimes through participation in March for Babies. During this time, FedEx has raised millions of dollars for our common mission of "Deliveries, on Time". As National sponsor of both March for Babies and our Prematurity Campaign, FedEx's generous financial support and in-kind donations have allowed us to reach an increasingly wide audience of prospective parents with our important health messages. FedEx employees continue to provide leadership on our Boards of Directors and event committees. In addition, each spring, tens of thousands of FedEx employees from all operating companies join their local FedEx March for Babies team and help raise funds to save babies' lives.

First Response
A brand of Church & Dwight Co., Inc., First Response is the market leader in home pregnancy testing. 2008 marks the companies third year of a national partnership, which aims to reach women of childbearing age and promote the importance of early pregnancy detection and prenatal care. Joint messaging, which is weaved into extensive tagged advertising, co-branding on packaging, literature/product displays and in-store promotion, focuses on informing women that the sooner they know they are pregnant, the sooner they can start giving their baby a healthy start. First Response funded the development of the March of Dimes "Are You Ready" booklet available free to consumer. It is packed with healthy tips and answers the many questions surrounding your emotional, physical and financial well-being before becoming pregnant. Sponsorship supports March of Dimes March for Babies events in select markets nationwide.

Grain Foods Foundation
For the third year, the March of Dimes welcomes Grain Foods Foundation and its members as a national sponsor of March for Babies. The Grain Foods Foundation, and its members, is committed to raising awareness for the important role that B vitamins and folic acid, in particular, play in helping prevent birth defects. The March of Dimes and the Grain Foods Foundation have also launched a new Folic Acid for a Healthy Pregnancy seal featured on select products at retail to help women quickly and easily identify grain products, such as white bread, that are enriched with folic acid. Their participation will include national publicity and retail support in conjunction with its "Grains for LIFE" campaign, as well as providing consumer nutrition education materials. The Grain Foods Foundation, a joint venture of members of the milling and baking industries formed in 2004, is dedicated to advancing the public's understanding of the beneficial role grain-based foods play in the human diet.

Gund
Gund, the leading soft toy manufacturer in the U.S., and also the oldest, recently launched a line of products, called "Sweetness", to benefit the March of Dimes. This product line is the first item to be part of the new "Pink & Blue for Babies" marketing platform which seeks to reach consumers with a soft educational message and give them a way to "shop to help". In 2007, the line includes three products and accompanies a $100,000 donation by the company. For more than a century, Gund has been creating unique teddy bears and other soft toys recognized the world over for their quality and innovation. Gund is known worldwide for its top quality, soft and huggable plush designs. Award-winning Gund products appeal to all ages, from infants up, and are perfect for both play and collecting. Gund products may be found in gift, specialty, toy, book, museum and department stores and many other retail outlets.

Conducting a cutout fund-raising promotion in retail locations along the eastern seaboard and participating in March for Babies, Hess has raised more than $730,000 for the March of Dimes since 2001.

Liberty Tax Service joins the March of Dimes as a national sponsor of the 2008 - 2020 March for Babies event. Mothers Work, Inc. (Motherhood Maternity)
Motherhood® Maternity, the largest maternity retailer in the U.S. and a national sponsor of the Prematurity Campaign, is committed to providing vital information to help pregnant women decrease the risk of premature birth and become aware of the warning signs of preterm labor. Throughout the year, Motherhood conducts an in-store promotion to communicate Prematurity awareness, and currently Motherhood customers can purchase a co-branded bracelet (with a portion of the proceeds benefiting March of Dimes), which delivers tips on a healthy pregnancy. During Prematurity Awareness Month, consumers can also contribute an additional $1, $2, or $5 instore. In addition, first-time purchasers in Motherhood Stores receive gift bags with a bilingual March of Dimes Pregnancy & Newborn Health Education Center brochure, providing instructions on how to access information on pregnancy topics. Motherhood has contributed more than $900,000 over the past few years.

PaperChain
PaperChain, an association of over 2,000 free community newspapers nationwide, has been a media partner in the March for Babies this year, WalkAmerica in previous years, and the Prematurity Awareness Month campaigns for the last 6 years. Member newspapers have contributed millions of dollars in advertising space for these critical March of Dimes campaigns, and newspaper staff have joined volunteer committees in chapters across the country.

Proctor & Gamble
Procter & Gamble's Pampers brand, the leading diaper brand in the world, has supported the March of Dimes for the past two years as a sponsor of the Nursing Education Program and through the online Banding Together program, donating a total of $100,000. Throughout 2007, the Pampers Childbirth Education curriculum included information from the March of Dimes on having a healthy, full-term pregnancy. Childbirth educators throughout the United States use the Pampers curriculum in their childbirth classes, reaching women at approximately their 6th month of pregnancy.

This regional supermarket chain has raised an incredible $25 million since 1998. In 2007, through the sale of paper sneaker cutouts, the company raised more than $3.1 million for the March of Dimes. Studies indicate that prenatal vitamins providing fish oil-based essential fatty acids have been demonstrated to significantly increase the length of gestation, even among women at high-risk for a premature birth. United Auto Workers/Big 3
Since 2005 United Auto Workers (UAW), one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America, has partnered with the Big Three Automakers - Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and GM - in a coordinated fundraising effort to support March of Dimes March for Babies. Endorsed by Ron Gettelfinger, UAW President, and top management from the automakers, this partnership has resulted in over $2 million raised for America's babies. Union liaisons along with representatives from management hold key positions on March of Dimes committees and boards across the country. In addition, campaign leaders seek ways to expand their team by engaging auto dealerships and industry vendors.

3,400 Wachovia employees participate in March of Dimes March for Babies in every state in which they do business.
